vista 64 bit corrupt registry
I have vista on one partion, XP on another and Fedora Core 4 (Linux) on another. I can Boot Linux from a CD and Vista from windows os chooser but can't Boot into XP as it says that <Windows root>\stystem32/hal.dlll is corrupt and it is. Where can I get another copy of it from?

It seemed to not make any changes but it may have anyway. I never had actually rebooted until a few days after that when suddenly it would not boot into Vista. It said "boot error press control alt del to restart" and repeatedly did that. Thanks for trying to help though.

Took the Recovery disc and tried to Re-install the Windows from Boot disc and now its throwing an error message "WINDOWS COULD NOT CONFIGURE ONE OR MORE COMPONENT.
